I don't know who had the audacity to think of that ( that being "My Favourite Piece of Music")as a title for a mini essay (300-500 words). Not just for any student but a MUSIC student.
I don't know many people, let alone music students, who have one favourite piece of music. Of course the title isn't implying that you will have only one favourite piece but that you need to choose one to profess about.
So once I decided on a piece I get stuck trying to describe it in proper terms excluding the use of words like sweet, hot, good and choon. You know when the song it just so good you can't really explain why you like it so much, words kind of escape the greatness of it and you go back to year 2 english and say its just great.
I imagine that once I get past this barrier and begin to unravel my love for said tune (ignoring the fact that I should be able to do this anyway since I am a music student) I won't be able to fit it into 500 words!
Now who said that music was an easy subject?
